Here at KDC we are devoted to serving all beings. We have begun with three small projects. Wagging Tails, Bags For Hope, and links to local resources. It is our hopes that we may be of help in easing the suffering of those we can reach through our efferts.

 All of the staff and volunteers here at KDC give their time freely and willingly. You are invited to join our team of volunteers. Please feel free to contact us anytime.

Bags For Hope

 Our Buddha Bags Project is focused on the homeless and those in need. We take donations of new or used ( in good condition ) blankets, towels, and back packs. In each back pack we place; 1 blanket, 1 towel, 1 washcloth, 2 pair of socks, 1 bar of soap, 1 deoderant, 1 toothbrush and toothpaste, 2 razors, and 1 comb. These bags are passed out to the homeless and needy in the area in order to make life a little bit easier.

Friends With Tails Project:

 Our staff and volunteers are currantly seeking donations of items that would assist the local animal shelters in their mission of caring for the animals in their charge. The types of items needed are things like Pet Shampoo, Dishwashing Liquid, Laundry Detergant, Bleach, and Trash Bags. They are also in need of old towels and blankets that could be used as bedding for the animals. Our next drive has been set for November, 16th in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the Wal-mart parking lot. However, donations are taken at any time.
